Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSISThe 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for the METI Tetherless Simulator (including basic on-site training course with installation & training) to include the Parker Hardened Mannequin Case (METI Item #: CAS-008) and ECS Advanced On-Site Education (METI Item #: TRN-008) all with a quantity of one (1) each delivered to Patrick AFB, Florida. This is a Sole Source with Medical Education Technologies, Inc. (METI) IAW FAR 6.302-1. METI is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement as they are the sole manufacturer of this particular technology. This brand of technology is currently being used to provide mission essential training. Any deviation from this brand would eliminate the ability to provide identical levels of training and instruction in emergency trauma patient care. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3999 with a business size of 500 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 339999. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that METI is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
