Description
The purpose of this amendment is to list additional questions and answers. Therefore the questions and answers are listed as follows: Questions and Answers: (1) Per Modification #4 of Solicitation #SAQMPD05R1006, Question 5. Section L.7.2 requests three past performances. In your clarification, you state that the Government requests Three (3) for each prime and sub. This is a modification to the original requirement of three past performances. Is it the Government’s intent to receive at a minimum of three (3) past performances for the team? No, it is intent to received a minimum of three (3) for the prime and a minimum three (3) for the sub. (2) Per Modification #4 of Solicitation #SAQMPD05R1006, Question 11. The question was asked about what page margins, font types and sizes a contractor should utilize when formatting the proposal. Your response was 5 inch margins, 12 pitch, Times New Roman is preferred. Can you please clarify? Can a contractor use 11 pitch Times New Roman and 1 inch margins and still be within the formatting guidelines of the Solicitation Requirements. “5 inch margins” that were listed is administratively incorrect and is deleted and replaced with “1 inch margins”, but the 12 pitch, Times New Roman is as stated. (3) Per Modification #4 of Solicitation #SAQMPD05R1006, Question 19. Can the government please clarify their response to the questions asked? The Government answers yes to the fact that they are only expecting an hourly rate and estimated hours for 1 Full Time Employee per labor category. Then the government advises that contractor should propose costs/prices for the base and each option year? From this verbiage are the contractors suppose to bid only labor categories as one full time employee and then escalate them out through the option years. Does the government want the proposed staffing as offered in the solicitation to be disregarded in this price quote? Is the government only looking for labor rates for this solicitation? On the other hand, is the government looking for a price quote for labor rates and the proposed staffing that was given in the solicitation? Question and Answer for 19 was posted as: “19. For pricing proposal, is the government looking for hour rates/estimated hours for one full-time equivalent under each labor category? Yes..Or, are we expected to estimated the number of total hours for the entire contract under each labor category? Yes, the contractor should proposed costs/prices for the base and each option year.” Therefore, what the government has clearly stated that proposals received are expected to include price/cost for the base period and all option years that include the total amount of hours. Meanwhile it is totally up to the contractors how they submit their proposals. All else remains unchanged.
