Description

The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHS), New Orleans, Louisiana, has a requirement for a contractor to provide Vocational Readjustment Counseling Services to the beneficiaries of the VA Regional Office, New Orleans, LA. Contract services are divided into two (2) separate services, Vocational/Educational Counseling Services and Vocational Assessment Needs Analysis/Systematic Exploration. Provider must be physically located in Louisiana, which includes all 64 parishes. This will be a requirements type contract, and case referrals will be made based upon having a large population of veterans, service persons and dependents applying for counseling and the VA Regional Office not being able to provide the necessary services. Prerequisites include all necessary Federal, State and/or local Professional Licenses and Certifications applicable to the provisions of offering Educational/Vocational Counseling and Vocational Assessment Analysis/Systematic Exploration. The contract will be for one year from the date of award, with a one year option to renew. The NAICS Code is 624310. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. Requests for solicitation packets must be in writing, and addressed to SLVHS, Procurement & Services Section (AD13), ATTN: Ronelda Brister, 1555 Poydras Street, Suite 1300, New Orleans, LA 70112. Only 25 solicitation packets will be available, on a first come first serve basis. The solicitation will issue on or about October 16, 2006. Proposals are due by November 9, 2006, at 3:00 PM, CST, to SLVHS, Procurement & Services Section (AD13), ATTN: Ronelda Brister, 1555 Poydras Street, Suite 1300, New Orleans, LA 70112.
