Description

REQUIREMENT: The Federal Government is interested in leasing approximately 35,955 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet of office and related space. The Government presently occupies 35,955 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet of office space at 11817 Canon Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia. The Government is evaluating a renewal option and will consider relocation if economically advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving from the existing location, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space must meet all security requirements defined by United Facilities Criteria (UFC): DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings on or before October 1, 2009. Federal tenant also requires 122 parking spaces on-site. DELINEATED AREA: The delineated area for this project is within the city of Newport News, Virginia. LEASE TERM/OCCUPANCY: Five years lease term, with termination rights. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than April 27, 2007. Expression of interest shall be submitted no later than October 13, 2006 and include the following: 1) Building Name and Address, 2) BOMA Office Area Square Feet and BOMA Office Area Rate Per Square Foot.
