Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is soliciting for Habitability Shipboard Alterations and Repairs to support the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, Washington in accordance with specifications to be provided in the solicitation. The shipboard repairs and alterations to include: crew lounge; mess area; office renovation; dental office renovation will be performed in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS 332322 size standard 500 employees. The solicitation is being issued as a commercial acquisition under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price service type contract as a result of this solicitation. Delivery is desired no later than September 22, 2006 FOB Destination. All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
