Description
The purpose of this questionnaire is to aid in determining the suitability of your equipment (with minor modification if necessary) to satisfy the US Army and Marine Corps requirements based on an existing commercially available (marketed) Rough Terr ain Container Handler. WEBSITE FOR QUESTIONNAIRE: http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/ssn/sources.htm. The RTCH is a variable-reach container handler truck to be fielded in support of cargo transfer and ammunition handling operations. The RTCH can pick up, move and stack 20 and 40-foot long ISO freight containers weighing up to 53,000 pounds. The RTCH can conduct container operations over unimproved surfaces including beach sand, mud and snow. The RTCH is deployable worldwide by highway, air, rail and marine modes of transport. The most current purchase description (ATPD-2215, dated 27 March 2000) for the Armys latest RTCH is provided for informational purposes only. Modifications to this document are expected to occur. Please answer all questions applicable to your products. If you have more than one model to offer, use a separate questionnaire for each model. Any supplemental information concerning the performance, human factors engineering/safety, reliability/maintai nability etc., of your products or any other literature concerning your companies warranty program, production longevity, and reputation would be useful in this survey.
