Description

FINAL DECISION OF STREAMLINED COST COMPARISON STUDY UNDER OMB CIRCULAR A-76, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES (HHS), ADMINISTRATION ON AGING (AoA). This synopsis announces a final decision on a streamlined cost comparison study of the Office of Administrative Services? employee development services function and the Office of Community-Based Services? administrative support function. This study has resulted in a final decision that it is more cost effective to convert the current operation to the private sector. As a result of this final decision, the Administration on Aging and responsible Contracting Officer shall initiate the development of a solicitation for issuance. When the solicitation has been developed, a request for proposal shall be posted accordingly.
