- ISSUE DATE: 13 NOVEMBER 2006. Solicitation HSCGG1-07-Q-3WK004. Contractor shall provide all labor, testing materials, measures, equipment, transportation, supervision, and shall perform all operations in conjunction with testing, inspecting, and reporting the condition of weight handling equipment located within the service area of the USCG Civil Engineering Unit Providence at the various Coast Guard installations in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. The contractor shall provide an inspector accredited by the U.S. Department of Labor to test, inspect, and report the condition of all weight handling equipment. THE NAIC Code is 541380. The Small Business Size Standard is 11.0 million. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 12 and is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price Service contract for a Base Year plus four (4) option years. Solicitation packages will be available on or about November 13, 2006. The date for receipt of quotations is tentatively scheduled on or about January 8, 2007 at 2 p.m. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this web site. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System.
