Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. This RFQ solicitation is set aside 100% for small busin ess; the NAICS is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Line Item 0001: Provide and install a turn-key communications dispatching system in the Observation Tower, currently under construction, to control radios and telephones at the Air Assault Strip, Camp Shelby, MS. The operator stations must fit into a 12-foot built-in cabinet/counter located in the Control Facility, and any cables, racks, and/or panels must be terminated in the Communications Room located on the ground floor of t he tower. This system must have the capability to effectively control up to 6 radios and 10 phone lines in a 2-operator-position touch screen console. This system will be used to communicate with incoming and outgoing aircraft, ground personnel, and range control sites at an assault training airstrip facility. All radios will be furnished by the Government. Radios provided will be two (2) AN/PRC-117 VHF/UHF transceivers, one (1) Motorola VHF LMR base station and one (1) Motorola CDM-750 Low Band Base Station. The dispatch system must include radio control circuits capable of co ntrolling the keying and audio to these radios. The radios will be approximately 50 to 75 feet away from the dispatching consoles. Minimum capabilities required: 1) Control up to 6 radios with a choice of Tone, DC, or Ground keying. 2) Capable of digitally recording and retaining at least 24 hours worth of all Telephone and Radio voice transmissions. 3) Capable of controlling up to 10 Telephone lines, which will include ring down lines. 4) Touch screen control. 5) At least 4 separate speaker channels so tha t 4 radios can be monitored at once. 6) 2 dispatch consoles so that 2 controllers can operate at once. 7) Desk microphone for transmit audio and headsets for transmit and receive. 8) Touch screens must be at least 19 inches for the 2 dispatch consoles. 9) 3-year warranty.
