Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole source delivery order to Hamilton Sundstrand of Windsor Locks, CT under BOA N00019-05-G-0005 for the manufacture of an estimated six (6) NP2000 propeller systems for delivery in FY09 to support the E2D Pilot Production Aircraft. This effort was previously synopsized in May 2006 (Reference number N0001906P7111A). In addition to the previously identified requirement, the Government intends to establish options on that delivery order for additional NP2000 propeller systems for an estimated twenty-seven (27) shipsets of NP2000 propeller systems for delivery in FY09 through FY12 to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) E-2C Aircraft. The Government also intends to establish options to procure Line Replaceable Units (LRU) to support the propeller systems. Only Hamilton Sundstrand possesses the technical knowledge of the propeller design, production engineering requirements, and complex systems integration parameters to provide the qualified propeller system for these E2-C aircraft.
