Description
SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of systems engineering, software development, configuration management, test, fleet introduction, product improvement, quality assurance, logistics, and life cycle management support for various C4ISR requirements, programs, and projects, as tasked by multiple Department of Defense (DOD) and other federal agencies, during critical periods from system conception through system operation. Services will include evolutionary integration of C2 capability for numerous current and previous C4ISR systems in order to support multiple war fighting, manpower, and logistics missions for commanders at all echelons, in all Naval environments, and for Joint, Coalition, and Allied forces. Some of the present requirements are as follows: United States Marine Corp C4I systems, United States Army systems, Joint C4ISR programs, and other mobile and fixed site C4ISR systems and related Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and NATO projects. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Performance- Based type contract with performance incentives and provisions for Firm-Fixed- price orders. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition on an unrestricted basis. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is on or about 01 December 2006. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
