Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking a contractor to review and evaluate data contained in the automated systems of the plan service providers and PBGCs corporate database Participant Records Information System (PRISM). Providing technical and administrative support to the Trusteeship Processing Divisions (TPD) and the Field Benefit Administrators (FBAs), due to the increase of plans being trusteed by PBGC and new software releases. Services will be concentrated in the PBGC’s Operations and Actuarial Systems Division (OASD) within the Benefit Administration Payment Department (BAPD). The period of performance for the base year will be from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007 and four (4) one-year options for renewal at PBGC’s discreation. The solicitation document will be distributed through the FedBizOpps gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. All information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be available through the FedBizopps site. Interested parties are rersponsible for monitoring the site to assure they have most up to date information about this acquistion. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be available. The solicitation is not currently available, but estimated to be available on or about May 23, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration by the PBGC. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-APR-2006).
