Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice. The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to locate manufacturers interested manufacturing a three stage, non standard frame size air filter. The filters will be utilized in filtering air exhausting from a paint facility where aerospace coatings are being applied. The filters should be designed to be compliant to EPA 40 CFR, Volume 63, Method 319 for penetration and efficiency, with the efficiency at or greater than 99.7 percent and metal framed. Filters will be installed in a 22 inch X 22 inch cavity that is bordered by a one inch lip on all four sides resulting in a hole for the bag filter of 20 inches X 20 inches.
