- CONTACT Nicole DiIorio, Logistics Mgmt Specialist, 732-532-2674. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the Engine, Diesel. We are buying a total quantity of 25 remanufactured engines (the government will not supply the c ores): NSN 2815-00-501-7001, Mg P/N 72-2206, Cage 30554 or Commercial P/N D298ERX37 and CAGE 1ML14. The part is used in the 30 KW, MIL STD Generator Set MEP-005A and MEP-114A. There are limited sources for this engine, you must have the cores to rebuild. D etailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing or repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, F t. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023.The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Arm y with a unit from the supplier listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
