Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, intends to specify Meridian Systems Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, as the sole-source provider for the software integration of the Direct Digital Controls (DDC) System in the FY07 Dormitory to be solicited under solicitation W911KB-06-R-0025, and Elmendorfs base-wide Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) under FAR 6.302-1 ( c), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements/Application for Brand Name Des criptions. As custodian of the Elmendorf EMCS, Meridian Systems Inc. provides unique access to and understanding of the base-wide remote building HVAC monitoring and control system.
