- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYCOM) intends to contract for Operations Maintenance, Navy (OMN) funded order(s) under an existing Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) for engineering services in support of the H-1 Helicopter program to include the UH-1N/AH-1W and UH-1Y/AH-1Z aircraft and simulators for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The requirement consists of studies and investigations to improve safety, maintain performance and configuration, support Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) requirements, and product improvements to eliminate obsolescence and extend service life. Additionally the orders will include associated data and test of components and/or prototype hardware or software resulting from the engineering studies and investigations. NAVAIRSYCOM intends to procure these services from BHTI, the sole manufacturer of the H-1 Aircraft, under an existing Basic Order Agreement with BHTI, Fort Worth, TX. See Note No. 22.
