- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation number is HSCG40-06-R-40036. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 423830. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. Project Title is: KONESCRANES Overhead Bridge Crane. This is a brand name solicitation. The USCG intends to solicit for a KONECRANES (Model CXT50420080T66H6DOF) and to make an award as a result of this solicitation. A KONECRANES brand name model crane is required because the existing crane at the USCG Yard, Baltimore, MD is a KONECRANES (Model CXT50420080T66HDOF). Both the existing crane and the new crane have to operate in tandem with each other to avoid any safety hazards. FOB Destination: U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Attn: Receiving Bldg. 88, Baltimore, MD 21226. Companies must have a valid DUNS number, be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and provide a company Tax Identification Number (TIN) with their offer. Anticipated award date is June 22, 2006.
