Description

Self Powered Standard Waste Box (SWB) Tug A SWB is 36? tall, 52? wide, and 68 ?? long. The empty weight of a SWB is 635 lbs for the box and 130 lbs for the lid. The SWB sets flat on the ground and cannot have anything welded to the bottom to raise it up off the ground. Required features include: 1) Carries a SWB (transporting facility waste) lengthwise through a standard set of double personnel doors. Transporting lengthwise is necessary since the facilities confined space restricts mobility for loading and changing out a SWB. 2) Power adjustable width to allow the tug arms to be maneuvered around the SWB, close in on the frame, and raised into the lifting handles located near the top of the SWB. The SWB must be lifted with no cribbing or dollies required underneath the SWB. 3) An on board scale to prevent unintentional overloading of the containers max capacity of 4,000 pounds. 4) Simple straight-forward controls allowing for movements of forward, backward, raising and lowering of the arms, adjusting the width, and raising and lowering the SWB. 5) Load lift capability up to 6000 lbs. 6) Powered, wagon style steering allowing easy maneuvering and tight cornering by one person. 7) Battery powered driver and hydraulic systems that provides 6-7 hours of use between charges.
