Description

NRCS is seeking quotes for award of a fixed-price contract to provide site preparation and tree planting services in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. Total acres for planting is 227.7 acres. All seedlings will be 1 year old, eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) inches in height and have a three-eighths inch (3/8) root collar and be the following trees: Nuttall Oak, Willow Oak, Overcup Oak, Bald Cypress, and Water Tupelo (other species may be substituted for the above). Seedlings shall be planted between December 15, 2006 and March 15, 2007. All work shall be completed by March 15, 2007. A site showing is planned for November 13, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the NRCS WRP Project Office located at 3545 4th Street, Jonesville, LA 71343. Offer packages should be posted to FEDBIZOPPS on or about November 2, 2006. All responsible offers are invited to submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
