Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Ralph H. Johnson, VAMC, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, South Carolina, 29401 is requesting proposals from small businesses to provide handicap transportation service coverage for authorized veterans administration beneficiaries. The requirement involves providing and maintaining all management, supervision, manpower, training, equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, pre-employment screenings, reports, and files necessary to accomplish security guard services. This is an acquisition for commercial services. The Performance Period will be for a twelve (12) month base period, and two one year options. Services will commence on December 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 485991 with a standard size of $6.5 million. This solicitation will be available on or about September 21, 2006 and must be downloaded at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. No telephone or email request shall be accepted for solicitation documents. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING and may be sent by email or faxed to (478) 274-5800. No web based offers will be accepted. The offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments without further notice from the VA. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
