Description

The U.S Geological Survey Biological Resource Division, Leetown Science Center, Aquatic Ecology Branch, Kearneysville, WV, has a requirement for a non-competitive award via written request for Quotation No. 07ER03-NoSolicitation to PerkinElmer LAS, Inc., 710 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT, for a ScanArray GX Laser Scanner, with 110V fuse and cord kit. USGS requires the scanner for microarray analysis of genes to measure environmental stressors and functional adaptation to habitat for species management plans and endangered species protection and restoration programs. The microarray scanners from PerkinElmer have a proven track record of reliability and performance. This is essential to ensure the integrity and uniformity of data already collected by the Leetown Science Center. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The anticipated award date is October 24, 2006, under the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.00. NAICS is 334516.
