Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for Market Research only by the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) located on U.S. military base in South Carolina at Fort Jackson. The Fort Jackson School System consists of three elementary schools CC Pinckney Elementary, Pierce Terrace Elementary, and Hood Street Elementary. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify qualified sources to provide student bus transportation services in support of the Fort Jackson School System Field Trip Program. DDESS seeks a SC state certified bus transportation business experienced in transporting students on a flexible schedule between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM for up to 75 school field trips. The average field trip requires 1-3 buses (occasionally 4) capable of seating an average of 54 passengers per bus (2 per seat). Sources shall provide all equipment and labor to load passengers at schools, secure lunches, equipment, and or boxes, transport to/from field trip locations and unload passengers and equipment at schools. Period of Performance: School Year 2006-2007 (October 06- Jun 07) and if needed, extend through the summer session to Aug 07. This is a Sources Sought Notice for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME.
