Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, and maintenance of seized/forfeited vehicles in the District of Alaska. The vehicles will include production-seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of a one-year options. This solicitation is unrestricted. It is anticipated that Solicitation No. DJMS-07-06-M-001 will be issued on or before October 1, 2006. The estimated response date will be September 15, 2006. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOpps web site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-AUG-2006).
