Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC) , located in Pollock, Louisiana intends to award a firm-fixed unit indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract to a responsible small business entity for the provision under RFQ-51904-0009-7 for steel toe safety shoes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. DESCRIPTION / SCHEDULE: STEEL TOE BOOTS PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance shall begin date of award through September 30, 2007. PLACE OF DELIVERY:The place of delivery is the Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Pollock, located at 1000 Air Base Rd. Pollock LA, 71467. SCHEDULE: Contractor will be required to provide steel toe boots on a monthly basis . Orders are to be completed within 30 days of receipt. The Contracting Officer will issue delivery orders on a monthly basis. CONTRACT PRICING The Government reserves the right to award without discussion. Therefore, the initial quote should contain the quoter?s best terms from a cost or price standpoint. PRICING METHODOLOGY Please provide pricing on all boots requested. Brand name have been included, however it is not necessary that it be that brand. It is include to help vendors with type of shoes required. Brand name or equal to product is acceptable. If quoting alternate product please provide brand name and style and ensure it includes all specification listed. We are looking for a slip resistant boot for staff that work in Food Service and an oxford style boot to offer staff. Please include your exchange policy and delivery service that will be offered, replacement offers for boots on back order and any type of warranty.
