Description

This is a notice of intent to increase the contract ceiling on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to increase the Not To Exceed amount of Contract F25600-02-D-0004 from $119M to $151M. The ceiling increase will permit the continuation of services to sustain AF Weather Strategic Center systems and to complete system upgrades to achieve the architecture goal of supporting warfighter net-centric operations. The ceiling increase will not extend the contract performance period, which ends 30 Sep 2007. This contract is a non-commercial, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost Plus Award Fee contract awarded via full and open competition for systems engineering, management, and sustainment of Air Force Weather systems. This notice is for informational purposes only; numbered note 22 applies. This is neither a request for proposal nor solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received by close of business 27 Oct 2006 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
