Description
The government intends to solicit an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Design/Build Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for work in and around the city of Baghdad, Iraq. The MATOC will be a contract for execution of a broad range of 33kV down to 400V electrical distribution network construction projects. Contractors will be expected to accomplish a wide variety of individual projects to include: installation of 33kV underground feeder lines; installation of 11kV overhead and underground feeder lines; installation of new and rehabilitation of existing low voltage network systems to include installation of poles, conductors, and transformers. Description of the specific work to be accomplished will be identified in each individual Task Order. Individual Task Orders may range between an estimated $200,000 to $5,000,000. The program value is expected to be approximately $80,000,000 over a one-year period and will offer an additional option year at an additional $80,000,000. This solicitation will incorporate a representative seed project upon which all proposals will be evaluated for award. The seed project will be for all design, supply, construction, installation and commissioning activities necessary to provide a fully functional low voltage network for the residents of Baghdad, Iraq. All successful awardees will be guaranteed a minimum $25,000 over the life of the MATOC. The Government intends to compete future individual requirements among the MATOC awardees. Offerors are encouraged to scrutinize the solicitation carefully when posted for more detailed information. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or multiple contracts nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
