Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to award a Sole Source contract, under the Veterans and Benefits Act of 2003, to Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation of Warminster, Pennsylvania to perform software maintenance support for the H-46 and C-130 Control Display Navigation Unit (CDNU) systems. These tasks include the evaluation and processing of software change requests, modification of software test descriptions, preparation/modification of IV&V software documentation, performing software testing, and providing test results. Navmar is currently providing similar services which allows the Government to rapidly test the CDNU for proper functions during the final year (or two) of AIMS installation. The intended period of performance for this contract is one year beginning 15 November 2006 with an option for an additional year. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
