- NAICS Code: 541519 Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Geographic Text Search The Information Analysis and Access Office of the Office of Environmental Information (OEI) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Immix Technology of McLean VA for Geographic Text Search (GTS). Immix is the only source that provides GTS that is compatible with the current product being used for an internal EPA application. Also the current product has cleared an extensive and costly security review at the EPA National Computer Center. Therefore, a compatible GTS is necessary. This noncompetitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements). OEI plans to issue this requirement as a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, which will be awarded to Immix Technology. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via e-mail only to: blanding.donna@epa.gov by November 3, 2006. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
