Description
The purpose of this modification to Solicitation Number: BATF10132006BW is to resopnd back to Questions asked. 1. When is the RFP proposal due? ANSWER: The new proposal due date is November 2, 2006. 2. When can we schedule site survey? ANSWER: However, in the RFP it states "A VHF Distributed Radiating Antenna System is in place; consisting of coaxial cables, radiating RF Cables, two external rooftop VHF antennas and an antenna located in the parking structure. The vendor shall conduct a RF Signal level site survey to determine if there is a need to augment the existing VHF Distributed Radiating Antenna System." Currently this VHF Distributed Radiating Antenna System is under contract to NETCOM to be installed with no known completion schedule at this time. A site survey is schedule for October 26, 2006 from 10:00am through 12:00pm this is the only time bidders can come to the site. Location: 99 New York Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20226 3. What kind of future infrastructure technology do you require? ANSWER: There is no future infrastructure technology that is being requested or identified in the RFP. The infrastructure that is identified for the IN-BWSA to interface with is a P25 standard, VHF, Conventional Radio System. 4 What is the last date questions can be submitted? ANSWER: No other questions will be accepted after October 30, 2006 close of business. 5. Will there be bidders conference? ANSWER: No bidders conference. 6. Will CAD drawings be provided, or will we be given the building square footage and construction specifications separately? ANSWER: No CAD drawings will be provided. The bidders will have to come on site prepared to measure and draw the facility free hand. No picture taking will be allowed. However if after the bidders have completed there survey and the bidders still have questions about the site, we (MSA, the NBPO, and Gilbane Construction) will try to answer all outstanding questions.
