- Posting (brief abstract): This announcement is a Market Survey/Request for Information. This announcement is NOT a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Offer (RFO) of any kind. Further, the FAA is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. All interest parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with this Market Survey/Request for Information Submissions will be solely at the interested party's expense. The purpose of this Market Survey/Request for Information is to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace, obtain information on available resources, and gain insight into industry capabilities. CONTRACTOR SHALL: The contractor shall support the Communication and Telecommunication Platform, ANI-970, in various communication projects throughout the United States. This support will include but not limited to: ?? Engineering support in installation, testing, and system integration of equipment/system at existing communication facilities. ?? Assist and provide feedback to FAA engineers in resolving problems concerning equipment/system installation and improving installation process. ?? Maintain contact with ANI-970 personnel on the various communication projects involved and provide weekly status/progress report of installation assignments; provide monthly report on rack fabrication accomplishments, next month planned activities, and status of project materials, parts and equipment. In addition, provide monthly engineering status/progress on project assignments. ?? Assist FAA engineers in preparing cost estimates and schedules; prepare field installation package; coordinate with the SMO, SSC and other FAA organization on the project scope of work; submit any documents required for the project such frequency request, work permit ??? etc. All responses should be sent electronically to the following email address: etta.green@faa.gov.
