- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue an unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) # VA-797-07-RP-0011 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DOD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) for Sucralfate Tablets 1gm. The estimated annual usage for Sucralfate Tablets is as follows: 9, 240 of the Sucralfate Tablets 1gm, 100s and 14,516 of the Sucralfate Tablets 1gm, 500s. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DOD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offerors must provide bar code labeling which includes at a minimum the NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and the agreement must remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Proposals received without a signed agreement will not be given further consideration. Solicitation No VA-797-07-RP-0011 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about Oct. 27, 2006 with a closing date 15 days from the solicitation issuance date. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. The solicitation, any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL on: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
