Description: This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source procurement to Energy Solutions to provide disposal of low level radioactive waste. The material for disposal is licensed and regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Low Level Radioact ive Waste Policy Act as amended by 42 USC 2021b. All applicable permits and licenses are required. Any resulting contract will be awarded under other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1 and is subject to availability of funds. This notice is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this procurement based upon a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
