Description: SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE; NAICS CODE 336611 (1,000 employees) The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a Contractor to drydock and repair Fuel Barge BG-6010. This is a 5 year drydock and US Coast Guard inspection of the c argo tank. BG-6010 is a single-skin, all steel welded hull, doublerake fuel barge with 3/8 bottom and side plates. The light displacement is 350 long tons. The principal hull dimensions are: Length overall, 235; Beam overall, 40; Depth, 11-9. The capacity of the barge is 13,000 bbls. Dates of proposed dry dock period are from 11 December 2006 to 25 January 2007. Drydock facilities must be within 100 miles of New Orleans, LA. Solicitation W912P8-07-T-0005 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ ) and will be available on or about October 27, 2006.
