Description

The Stoller-Navarro Joint Venture (SNJV), located in Las Vegas NV, performing services for The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO) under prime contract DE AC52 03NA99205 is soliciting bids for a Fixed Unit Rate subcontract to provide an industrial shredder for compacting/shredding gallon paint cans filled with soil to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Nevada Test Site (NTS) in Mercury Nevada or other disposal facilities. The start date of any resulting Subcontract is expected to be November 22, 2006 and shall continue until delivery is completed and maintenance is no longer needed. Offerors are to propose their best delivery date, with delivery as close to February 6, 2006 as possible. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This award will be made using the Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures under FAR Part 12. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible vendor meeting all the requirements listed in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal can be found at Stoller-Navarro?s Web site www.stoller-navarro.com. The vendor is to use the pricing and technical response tables found in Section B of the solicitation.
