Description
This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Heartland Region (Region 5) that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois are in the process of standardizing Sequential Compression Devices and Supplies as listed in the subject line above. Companies must obtain, or be in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items to be eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: phyllis.targett@wpafb.af.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than 21 days from the posting date. For questions, please call (937) 257-9075. Technical Criteria 1. Does your company manufacture and/or distribute a full line of intermittent pneumatic compression sleeves and devices for adults and pediatrics? 2. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? 4. What is your DAPA Number? 5. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product? 6. Are your products latex free? 7. Under what standards is your product manufactured? 8. What type of compression does your devices provide? 9. What types of materials are your sleeves available in? 10. What features do your sleeves have that make them more comfortable? 11. Do your devices provide between 45-52mm Hg +/- 10%? 12. Do your devices provide intermittent pneumatic compression to the lower extremities and mimic the leg's muscle action as if the patient were ambulatory? 13. Can your devices be used with one sleeve? 14. What is the weight of your pump/device? 15. How is your device/pump attached to the patient's bed? 16. Are your sleeves available in a variety of sizes? If so, what sizes? 17. Do your devices have an alarm? Under what circumstances does the alarm sound? 18. How does your company recommend the device/pump be cleaned? 19. Does your company have a maintenance program? 20. Does your product come in a package that can be delivered to a sterile field? 21. Does your company provide customer service 24/7? 22. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? If yes, please answer: a. Dates and duration b. Cause c.
