The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and woman-owned business enterprises. Asbestos removal at the Smith Ranch, Mojave National Preserve, Solicitation Number N8380070015. The National Park Service requires a firm fixed prince contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise to perform all operations required for successful completion of the project named above. The four buildings affected are located at the Smith Ranch located within the Mojave National Preserve. Work site is south of the Hole in the Wall Interagency Fire Center, 20 miles north of the Essex Road exit on Interstate 40, California. Work consists of work area isolation and engineering controls, removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials and lock down encapsulation of the work areas prior to visual clearance inspections and air clearance sampling. The NAICS code for this project is 562910 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. Contract duration is 21 days following the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $10,000 and $25,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties at a later time and date. Submittal period for proposals will be 30 days.
