Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for this requirement. The referance number is FOXG1N62510100, issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26 & 27. Please visit www.eps.gov and register to automatically receive procurement notification from EPS. The system will inform you, via email, when there has been activity on EPS concerning this solicitation. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses only, with a NAICS Code: 485510 and Size Standard: $6.0M. Contractor shall: CLIN 0001 DALLAS ROUND TRIP. Estimated eight (8) Each - 52 passenger buses. Number of Buses actually required will be provided to contractor on 15 December 2006 (a) Trip Departing From the Carswell Fitness Center, Bldg 340, Goodfellow AFB,: Buses must arrive on Goodfellow AFB no later than 2100 (9:00 PM) on Thursday, 21 December. Buses will begin departing for DFW International Airport beginning at 0005, on Friday, 22 December. (b) Trip Returning to the commissary parking lot at Goodfellow AFB: Buses will depart DFW International Airport on Monday, 2 January 2006, beginning at 1200, with last bus leaving approximately 1700 hours. Buses will leave when full. A military member from Goodfellow determines when last bus departs. Note: A round trip is defined as transportation departing from Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX, to DFW International Airport then return from DFW International Airport to Goodfellow AFB. CLIN 0002 SAN ANTONIO ROUND TRIP. Estimated six (6) Each - 47 passenger buses. Number of Buses actually required will be provided to contractor on 15 December 2006 (a) Trip Departing from the Carswell Fitness Center, Bldg 340, Goodfellow AFB: Buses must arrive on Goodfellow no later than 2100 (9:00 PM) on Thursday, 21 December 2005. Buses will begin departing for San Antonio International Airport beginning at 0005, on Friday, 22 December. (b) Trip Returning to the commissary parking lot at Goodfellow AFB: Buses will depart San Antonio International Airport on Monday, 2 January 2006, beginning at 1200, with last bus leaving approximately 1700. Buses will leave when full. A military member from Goodfellow determines when last bus departs. Note: A round trip is defined as transportation departing from Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo TX, to San Antonio International Airport then return transportation from San Antonio International Airport to Goodfellow AFB. All applicable DOT and State of Texas Bus and Bus Drivers licensing and certifications must be certified. Additionally, the carrier must be currently certified by the Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Commands List of Approved Department of Defense Bus, Van & Limo Carriers. Company awarded contract will need to provide a list of all potential bus drivers names, date of birth, Social Security Number, Driver License number and state to prearrange entry on to Goodfellow AFB NLT 14 December 2006 The following Commercial Clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial items (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (22), FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.), FAR 52.222-43, Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Contract Act-Price Adjustment (29 U.S.C. 351, et.
