Description

The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the unplanned dockside repairs of USCGC BOUTWELL (WHEC 719), a 378? high endurance cutter, home moorage in Alameda, CA. All work shall be at the cutter?s facility during the period of 11 December 2006 through 22 December 2006. Work items to include: reduction gear lube oil cooler inspection and reduction gear hot oil flush. On or about 08 November, a request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a Total Small Business set-aside procurement, Therefore, only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
