- There will be a site visit held at Fort Carson on 2 NOV 2006 beginning at 9:00 a.m. (local time, estimated). To register attendance for the site visit, Contractors should contact the Fort Carson Resident Office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, P.O. Bo x 13049, Fort Carson, CO 80913, Telephone (719) 526-4981, FAX (719) 526-5365, e-mail (Robert.T.Giles@usace.army.mil) no later than 30 OCT 2006. The Contractors will need to provide: names of persons attending along with name of company, phone and fax numb er. Contractors shall meet at Building 304. The contractors need to allow 20 minutes to process through the entrance gates (Gates 1,4, and 20). Do not use Gate 2. Contractors will have their vehicles searched. Please have drivers license, proof of insu rance , and registration available. Foreign National contractors must have a current passport and will be escorted by Dept of Defense personnel. Questions in regards to this project shall be forwarded to the address in Block 8 of Standard Form 1442, faxe d or e-mailed (preferred) to individuals identified in Paragraph: OFFEROR'S QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS in section 00100S, or emailed to Robert Giles (email address above) or Alan Ruff (Alan.L.Ruff@usace.army.mil) 402-221-3806. Remarks or responses to comments shall not qualify the terms of the solicitation. Terms of the solicitation remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. The FAR clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicition. Accordingly, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. The site visit for W9128F-07-R-0001 and W9128F-07-R-0002 will be conduct ed the same day.
