Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for a semi-tractor with removable sleeper unit, to be delivered to Fort Simcoe Job Corps in White Swan, WA. The vehicle is to be used as a rolling classroom for the instruction of student drivers. For this reason the vehicle specifications and alterations must be adhered to. Three options are being considered: Option 1: Lease to Own; Option 2: Purchase and Option; and 3: we will consider any other reasonable option. General Information: This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about October 26, 2006. 07SQ107040 will be available electronically on October 27, 2006 and must be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. Offers will be due on or before November 24, 2006. Other information: 1) Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award; 2) Submission of quotes must be in accordance with the solicitation; and 3) The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract made based on the Best Value to the Government. This acquisition is to be set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333924. The Small Business size standard for this code is 750 employees.
