Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, WRD Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF) intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Sutron Corporation, Sterling, VA to provide maintenance and repair of their Data Loggers and supporting equipment as needed. Sutron is the manufacturer of the equipment and as such possess the technical knowledge and patents covering the intricate design of the instruments and any accessory items associated with that instrument. There are no authorized service centers for this equipment. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about October 31, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334519. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
