- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEBSITE SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THIS NOTICE. The project consists of the supply and delivery of three (3) Photoconductive HgCdTe detectors for Phoenix Systems which utilizes RS-25 style scanners. This instrument will be flown in an aircraft. The detectors will be comprised of three (3) photoconductive HgCdTe (mercury-cadmium telluride) detectors, spectral filters, and cold shield enclosed in a dewar, and allow two preamplifiers (Government-supplied and installed after delivery) to be attached to the out side in close proximity to the output connectors on the dewar. The overall idea of these specifications is to provide the USDA Forest Service Infrared Operations with a 2-color detector in the 3-5 um and 8-12 um band, that can resolve at infinite focus, a 1 to 1.25 milliradian 'target.'
