Description
NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for the following service: The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to implement SMARTEAM product lifecycle management (PLM) software in the Numerical Control (NC) Machine Shop at Tinker AFB OK. Services shall include Project Management Services, Software installation, Implementation of the configured PLM solution tailored to solve identified Tinker Air Force Base business issues, Deployment, Training, and Support. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and supplies provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services shall be provided within a two month time period to begin no later than 30 Dec 06. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award is contemplated. The estimated award date is 25 Nov 06. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated as a 100% small business set-aside. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
