53-, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-07-Q-0054, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/CBSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Solicitation for quantity of 16 each, NSN 2840-01-205-0547, Synchronizing Ring, and Part Number: 4066672. Form/Fit/Function: This item connects variable vanes to RCVV actuation system. Dimensions: Approximately 25.5 inches diameter x 3/4 inch thick. Destination: Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Delivery: Delivery is to begin on January 31, 2008. The approximate solicitation issue date will be November 14, 2006. The anticipated award date will be 30 November 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney Division, East Hartford Ct., Delta Industries Inc., Smith?s Aerospace Wilkes-Barre, and Dynamic Gunver Technologies. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
