Description

CONTRACTORS ARE REQUESTED TO VIEW THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE TO VIEW AN EXECUTIVE SUMMARY INVITING CONTRACTOR FEEDBACK. THE WEBSITE IS LOCATED AT: http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/majorsys/tpe/tpe.htm Note this effort will consist of three single solicitations for 3 separate awards(other soliciation numbers will be W56HZV-07-R-0075 and W56HZV-07-R-0076). There will be one solicitation each for the Heavy, Medium and Line Haul tactical vehicles respective ly. The efforts will be a 4-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract(s), utilizing a combination of Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material Provisions for the refurbishment of the Heavy and Medium Truck Theater Provided Equipment (TPE) Fleet. The refurbishment work will be defined as inspecting and restoring the vehicles to Army 10/20+ maintenance standards, including identifying and requisitioning repair parts required as a result of inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements as provide d for in the applicable Technical Manuals/Technical Bulletins. The Government will direct which vehicles require Refurbishment. Vehicles will be delivered to contractor provided facilities in Kuwait (required to be within 75km of Camp Arifjan). Veh icles will undergo a joint contractor/government inspection prior to and after completion of the refurbishment effort. The repair parts will be obtained through the Government supply system.
