Description: This solicitation is for commercial item services. The contractor will straw mulch 400 acres, wood mulch 250 acres, and overseed 690 acres on designated burned areas. The contractor shall furnish 460 tons of certified weed free straw and 875 tons of approved wood mulch. Project site is located in Baker Resource Area, Vale District, Oregon. This solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed thirty percent (30%) of the total contract price. Bonds are not required. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is October 31, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
