Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF) located in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi intends to make a sole source award to Samco Antennas for Yagi Antennas. The proposed contractor offers unique qualifications in the following areas which are considered essential to the requirement. Samco is the manufacturer of the equipment and they possess the technical knowledge and patents covering the intricate designs of the instruments and any accessory items associated with the equipment. Drawings and specifications are not available. The Product Service code is 5895. The NAICS code is 335314. Proposal due date: 11/08/2006. Anticipated award date 11/13/2006. This award will be made solely for the purpose of restocking the Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility Warehouse. This notice is for information purposes only. No RFQ will be issued. The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the contracting officer, no later than the identified response date. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Far 6.302-1 for the proposed contract.
