Description
NAICS Code: 541710 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement to conduct analyses across several children's cohort studies by pooling relevant data. Data will be compiled from a number of different studies performed by different organizations. Because of differences in the data collection protocols and database formats, it will be necessary for a central organization to work with individual researchers to compile data in a systematic manner so that cross-study analyses can be performed. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis. The Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) is the only organization likely to successfully perform the work in a timely manner. HESI has established a strong group of interdisciplinary, multi-sector scientists that possess biomonitoring data that is required to meet the requirements of this procurement. Furthermore, they are uniquely qualified to work collaboratively with the diverse research organizations that have collected and retain the relevant data. NAICS Code 541511 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other sources(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provide the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statements, fully explaining their capability no later than 15 days after the date of this publication. Submit response to the U.S. EPA, Attn: John Southerland Jr (MC-E105-02), RTP Procurement Operations Division, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711.
