Description

NEW CONSTRUCTION FOR THE U. S. GOVERNMENT The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking offerors to design, construct, and maintain an office building under a fully serviced, long-term lease agreement in Canton, Ohio. The Government will transfer an assignable option to lease a pre-selected site to the successful Offeror. The site consisting of approximately 4.5 acres is located within the Central Business District of Canton, Ohio. The successful Offeror will construct two or more buildings (not to exceed three) and then lease to the Government 41,812 rentable square feet providing 32,724 to 36,359 ANSI/BOMA Office Area and related space, meeting US Government specifications. The site will accommodate the buildings and approximately 125 reserved parking spaces. This is a Government Design Excellence Project. These buildings will be a strong presence in the community and will house and represent the Federal Government. The offeror will be required to comply with specified state-of-the-art construction and technology. The Government will award a lease contract utilizing a two-phased negotiated procurement. GSA will select the offer that provides the best value to the Government. The term of the lease will be for twenty years firm. There is an opportunity to propose, offer and execute a Credit Tenant Lease.
