- Description
- The Air Force intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for non-personal services to provide the 76MXW/OBH training support as follows: contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, services and other incidentals to provide training and training-related support in the 76th Maintenance Wing at Tinker AFB OK. The contractor shall provide services only when the Government lacks the resources to support training requirements for 76 MXW/OBH on an as-needed basis as requested by the Government. This training support includes new courseware development and existing courseware revision and updates. The contractor shall provide classroom training instruction and any required support in Government furnished facilities. The estimated award date is anticipated to be 31 Oct 06. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
